With the real estate market going through a rebalancing, Colorado continues to search for affordable housing solutions. This proposed initiative would impose a 0.1% "fee" on every real estate transaction, statewide. Although a real estate transfer tax is prohibited in Colorado, those that are proposing the intiative claim this is a fee and not considered a "tax".
