Happy Wednesday! I hope your week is going well so far! It's hard to believe the holidays are just around the corner and this week's events calendar kicks off with a class to Design and Create your own Greetings Cards!
You should also check out Breck Creates 'Camping Jackets' class on Saturday! Get ready for winter by taking an otherwise unused item and make it useful again! Old sleeping bags have such great character and usable “parts", so get together and turn your old sleeping bag into a puff coat you can use in the colder weather.
Now, here’s what’s going on this week in Summit County...
In this class, you will make three cards and gain inspiration on how to make your own at home. You will be ready to get creating just in time for the holidays.
To sign up or get more information email mary.harmeyer@summitcountyco.gov, call 970-668-4280 or stop by the North Branch in Silverthorne.

The Town of Georgetown and the Georgetown Cultural Arts Program present Georgetown Mountain Jams 2021! The concert series takes place at the Library Park Stage on the SW corner of 6th St. and Rose St. This Saturday features the John Week Acoustic Duo.
Take an otherwise unused item and make it useful again! Old sleeping bags have such great character and usable “parts”. Together, we will turn your old sleeping bag into a puff coat you can use in the colder weather. This different “format” for your old sleeping bag will make it feel “new” but is also practical. This project is called The Camping Jacket or Coleman Sacks (when made with a Coleman Sleeping Bag).
Bring your own sleeping bag or purchase one of ours for $10. Old comforters can also be used instead.
