Happy Wednesday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend celebrating Halloween. November in Summit County brings lots of fun events! This Friday, we're excited to join the community celebration of Dia de Muertos at November's First Friday event in Silverthorne. There will be face painting, activities and workshops, live music and dancing, food and bar, and a breaking of the piñata and community procession to the altar.
On Saturday, Warren Station in Keystone kicks off the winter season with their Get Stoked: Movie and Music Series. This week's Film Premiere is a Double Feature with Faction Ski’s Roots and Matchstick Production’s The Stomping Grounds. Event proceeds will benefit Team Breck Sports Club and Team Summit.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 4TH
The HYPE: Axe Throwing | Breckenridge | 5.30 pm
This event is hosted by Building Hope for ages 12 - 18. Come join MTN AXE staff and learn about one of the most fun and fastest growing sports globally! They have created a series of clinics to teach you all about axe throwing. Every session with safety, followed by throwing techniques, and they work with each person individually to help perfect your throws. Then you will practice and play some games. This is a great opportunity to learn how to throw axes, make new friends and pick up a new sport! All skill levels are welcome and when you finish our sessions you will have opportunities to join our leagues in the future!

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 5TH
November 1st Friday | Silverthorne | 4 pm
Partake in a community celebration of Dia de Muertos at November's First Friday event. The Town of Silverthorne has partnered with Tonos Latinos to create a Festival de dia de Muertos to honor and celebrate the diversity in our community while educating the community about the importance of this revered holiday. Enjoy face painting, activities and workshops, live music and dancing, food and bar, and a breaking of the piñata and community procession to the altar.

Get Stoked Music & Movies Series | Silverthorne | 3.30 pm

Movie Night: French Dispatch | Breckenridge | 7 pm
Finish the week off at Movie Night in Breckenridge. Breck Film Festival's 'The Eclipse' screens “French Dispatch” from November 5 - November 18. The staff of a European publication decides to publish a memorial edition highlighting the three best stories from the last decade: an artist sentenced to life imprisonment, student riots, and a kidnapping resolved by a chef. A Wes Anderson film.
