This week's Summit County event calendar is full of fun events for the whole family! July 4th celebrations still look a little different but each town is offering a full day of events to make up for it! 

Wednesday 30th June – Get Creative in Frisco!

Art with Frosted Flamingo | Frisco Historic Park | 3.30 – 5 pm

In collaboration with the Frosted Flamingo Mobile Art Studio to make unique crafts (that you probably wouldn’t make on your own)! This is a great opportunity to create artwork and meet other creative-minded people. All levels are welcome.

This week you can create Stamped Dog Tags and Woven Collars. Keep your finished projects or gift them as a way to pass on the kindness in Summit County!

This event is limited to 10 participants Ages 12-18. This event is FREE for Summit County Residents.

Thursday, July 1st - FREE Outdoor Music! 

Concert in the Park | Frisco Historic Park | 5.30 pm - 7.30 pm

This week’s Concert in the Park features The Eric James Groove Conspiracy. They are known to throw down original funk tunes and an eclectic mix of classic rock and blues. Guitarist Eric James regularly plays with The Frisco Funk Collective in Summit County, and will be joined by Emily Durbin on vocals, bassist Tyler Easton, and Venezuelan jazz drummer Leo Lopez. This week’s concert will benefit Women of the Summit.

Friday, July 2nd – Silverthorne’s First Friday

First Friday Concert in the Park | Rainbow Park | 6pm - 9pm 

Enjoy live music from the local O'Connor Brothers Band and nationally touring act Big Sam's Funky Nation. Frosted Flamingo will be providing free Fourth of July themed crafts for kids and Cutthroat Anglers will be offering free educational fly fishing clinics. On your way to the concert in Rainbow Park, check out the new storm drain art around town. Artists will be completing their work between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Saturday, July 3rd – Drive-in Movie

A League of Their Own | Colorado Mountain College Parking Lot | 8.30pm

This week’s Breck Film Festival Drive-in Movie presents A League of their own. Two sisters, played by Geena Davis and Lori Petty, join the first female professional baseball team. They must put their own growing rivalry aside to help with the success of the team, and to change the game forever.
