Start every morning of the Breckenridge Music Festival with outdoor yoga, music, nature and wellness along the relaxing shores of the Blue River. These classes feature local musicians as well as members of the Festival ensemble performing either for the duration of the class or in the savasana. A partnership between Meta Yoga Studios, Breck Music and Breckenridge Creative Arts.

With roots in both pioneer and native cultures, Leon Joseph Littlebird understands the magic of the mountains and the southwest. His great grandfather was one of the original settlers in Blackhawk Colorado, and his great-uncle was a classical composer and performer in Silver Plume and Georgetown. This connection to the rich history of Colorado comes through in Leon’s music. A prolific songwriter and performer, his unique style tells tales of Colorado and the people of the west. Leon’s flute style combines ancient flute music with captivating rhythms that weave a tapestry of unforgettable sound, which he has taken to stages across the country.

Take in the Lake Dillon Scenery while picking up Palisade peaches from Forte Fruits, sampling Bjorn's Colorado Honey, and stocking up on handmade bath products from Conifer-based Taspen’s Organics. Other Colorado-based vendors include Miller Farm and Eat a Peach Farm from Palisade. This year's market can be found on Lodgepole Street adjacent to the Dillon Reservoir.

John Truscelli and Jess Rose are a staple in the Colorado music scene, playing 200 plus shows and festivals a year in the Colorado high country as a duo and with the band, Satellite13. Their signature sound of acoustic guitar and violin with harmony vocals spans over many genres and sure to please any audience.

Complete your summer day with Mountain Mixology at Solitude Station. Take a scenic chairlift ride on the American Eagle lift to enjoy mountain-inspired mixology with freshly foraged ingredients and panoramic views.
Mixing at Solitude Station starts at 2pm sharp, so please allow 15-20 minutes for the chairlift ride and walk to the Solitude pad located on the backside of Solitude building.

Sunday, August 13th – For the Kids!
2021 Sandcastle Competition | Frisco Marina | 10am
The Kids’ Sandcastle Competition will return this summer for a morning of creativity and fun on the beach at the Frisco Bay Marina for kiddos who are 12 and under. Event participation is FREE and each child will receive a free ice cream. Summit County avalanche rescue dogs will make a special appearance and will help judge the sandcastles. The event will happen rain or shine.
