Little Reader's storytime is on Wednesday mornings! The suggested age range for Little Readers is infant through 2.5 years of age. We will have fun books along with songs, rhymes, finger-plays, scarves and rhythm instruments. Little Reader's storytime is designed to help support pre- literacy skills and to develop a love of reading! No Registration is required. Programs will take place in the Blue River Room.

Don't miss the final Frisco Concert in the Park this week with Los Chicose. This Denver-based band is guaranteed to get an audience up on their feet for some Música Cubano. Los Chicos Malos is a five piece band with Victor Mestas on keyboard and vocals; José Alberto Cabrera on vocals, guiro, and maracas; Leo Munoz-Corona on congas; Howard Hernández on timbales; and Zak Kopeikin on bass. Los Chicos Malos deliver a fun-filled show of Cuban jazz, salsa, cha-cha, and everything in between.

Silverthorne is welcoming The Motet to Rainbow Park for this month's First Friday event. Local band Satellite 13 will kick off the evening of music.
Since 1998, The Motet has inspired the world with its unique style of dance music that traverses the lines between funk, soul, jazz, and rock. The Motet has headlined Red Rocks Amphitheatre six times and has appeared at festivals such as Bonnaroo, Bottlerock, Electric Forest, Bumbershoot, Summer Camp, and High Sierra.
Food will be available for purchase from La Perla, Colorado Marketplace and Bakery, Graze and Torrey's, and Hot Diggity Dog gourmet hot dog stand. Beverages will be available for purchase from the bar, no outside alcohol is permitted.

Keystone Oktoberfest is for the entire family! Kids will love Kinderfest, their very own kids Oktoberfest, they get to make koozies at The Frosted Flamingo mobile art studio, watch dance performances, and take lessons from the Denver German Traditional Dance Group. Parents will love the Colorado craft beers from New Belgium Brewery that draw from German roots. As an added bonus the River Run Village stores and shops are getting in the spirit and having an Oktoberfest Tent Sale that day so treat yourself to an end-of-summer goodie from one of the many unique shops.

Join instructor Emily Wahl to learn how to paint with watercolors. Classes are for beginner and intermediate painters. Each class will have a specific focus on how to paint Fall Colors. The first two classes will be painted outdoors and the last two indoors. The instructor will provide reference materials or students are welcome to bring their own.
