Breckenridge is hosting one of our favorite events of the year this week, the International Snow Sculpting Festival! The artists will be carving throughout this week and viewing begins on Saturday, January 29th. Sculptures will be on display until February 2nd but the Town of Breckenridge is expecting this Saturday and Sunday to be the busiest so you do need to register for free to schedule a time to view.

Angry James Brewery is celebrating their 4th Birthday this evening with Live Music from Jeff Kingery 5-7 pm. Mug Clubbers can also redeem their free pint. Birthday celebrations continue through Saturday with Trivia Night, Live Music from Neighbors and their special anniversary IPA release!

Broken Compass' monthly Comedy Night returns, this time on a Friday evening! Local comedian Pat Treuer hosts this evening of comedy, welcoming special guest Mark Masters to the Broken Compass stage for the first time. Breckenridge’s International Snow Sculpture Championships presented by Toyota is a world-renowned snow sculpting competition where teams of talented artists descend on Breckenridge, Colorado to hand-carve 20-ton blocks of snow into enormous, intricate works of art. Artists are only allowed to use hand tools, creativity and inspiration to bring their ideas to life. No power tools allowed! Teams sculpt countless hours across five days (totaling around 96 hours), resulting in a temporary outdoor art gallery in historic downtown Breckenridge!
